2011 Porsche 911 GT2 RS New Images
The 2011 Porsche 911 GT2 RS was revealed today in a couple of leaked images apparently shot during a sort of official presentation. The new 911 GT2 RS is probably the greatest version of the 911 and features a wider and more aggressive body kit with new spoilers, side skirts, a new carbon fiber hood, big air intakes and a new set of eye catching wheels.
The car’s interior was also fully refined and Porsche took almost everything out and installed sport bucket seats and other sporty elements and covered everything in a stylish red Alcantara trim.
We don’t have any official details about the 2011 Porsche 911 GT2 RS but this supercar is apparently lighter and powerful than the regular 911 GT2. Sources suggest that Porsche managed to shave almost 100 kg from the car’s weight and under the hood the car features a modified version of the 911 GT2 twin turbocharged flat-six engine that is able to produce 600 HP.
With the huge power output, reduced weight and optimal aerodynamics, the new GT2 RS should be a lot more powerful than the regular model. We’ll be back with more details as soon as the car is officially unveiled!
