Alpina’s newest model: the BMW Alpina B3 GT3
BMW refining specialists from Alpina have revealed earlier this month their newest model, the brand new BMW Alpina B3 GT3, which is not based on the new M3 coupe as most of you probably expected. Under the hood, it hides a powerful 3.0L twin turbocharged 6 cylinder engine which was tweaked by Alpina to reach an impressive output of 408 hp and 540 Nm of torque.
With all this power, the B3 GT3 is able to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds and it’s able to reach a top speed of 300 km/h. The new Alpina model also received a couple of styling upgrades designed to improve the car’s aerodynamics, such as a new front spoiler and a boot lid wing and an ultralight Akrapovic Titanium exhaust system which is 11 kg lighter than the standard exhaust.
Next, the car’s braking system was also modified completely with 380 x 35mm discs and 6 piston calipers on the front and 355 x 32 mm discs with 4 piston calipers at the back.
