Aston Martin has released over the week the official engine specification of their limited edition Aston Martin One-77 supercar. The One-77 will be built in a limited run of just 77 units with the first deliveries scheduled to start early next year.
The initial predictions were that the engine of this supercar will develop a little over 700 HP and the official numbers show a staggering power output of 750 HP and also 750 Nm of torque delivered by the 7.3L V12 engine. Even though the performance figures weren’t released yet, the pre-production prototype was able to reach a breathtaking top speed of 335 km/h.
This engine is connected to a six speed robotized manual gearbox and to stop this supercar from high speeds carbon ceramic brakes and specially developed Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires were installed. The carbon fiber monocoque chassis of this car and the inboard double wishbone suspension with Dynamic suspension stool valve damping also contribute to an impressive handling.
Most of the 77 One-77s have been already bought but if we can’t own one, we’ll have to settle with gawking at one from this gallery!
