Audi is a company that is well known for its superior cars. The car company is known for creating mid-end to high-end cars that boast of impressive features and specifications. The company has also ventured into the industry of supercars and has been very successful in the industry thus far. This 2014, Audi has revealed one of their most anticipated cars in the history of the company. Labelled as having headlamps of the future, this car features the brightest and most intense headlamps ever installed in a vehicle. This car is known as the Audi Sport Quattro Laserlight Concept.
The hype for the Sport Quattro Laserlight began at CES 2013. In this event, Audi revealed their design for an LED system headlight. The system uses two trapezoidal elements that are placed inside one another. The outer element consists of LED beams that have low intensity while the inner element consists of laser diodes that power the laser light. Around September or November of the same year, Audi released its concept design for a Sport Quattro bearing this LED system and thus, the Laserlight was born.
As with all Audi cars, the Audi Sport Quattro Laserlight Concept bears Audi’s top-notch engineering and quality. The first feature of this vehicle is, of course, its LED headlamps. Audi has claimed that the Laserlight can illuminate up to 500 meters of road with an intensity that is three times more powerful than LED beam headlamps. This rating is based on Audi’s test in a secured and optimal environment. Another feature of the car is its hybrid powertrain. The Laserlight is capable of extracting power from both its gasoline tank and on-board battery. This combination makes the car capable of economically using its gasoline resulting to a whopping 94 miles per gallon rating.
The Sport Quattro Laserlight is a beast when it comes to its specifications. Upholding Audi’s passion to produce powerful cars, the Laserlight boasts of a powerful twin turbo V8 engine. The engine is combined with a start-stop system and a cylinder deactivation to maximize its power output. Alongside the engine is an 8 speed automatic transmission, an all-wheel drive, and an overpowered mechanical torque. This combination results to a vehicle that has 700 horsepower. This means that the car can run from 0 to 60 miles per hour in only 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 190 miles per hour. The powerful combination also enables the car to run an estimate of 31 miles using its battery alone.
The reception for the Sport Quattro Laserlight was an overwhelming positive. Many car enthusiasts believe that the Laserlight is the first of many vehicles that sport a high intensity headlamp. The reception of the car was further heightened by the fact that performance is not compromised even when futuristic enhancements were installed. Though the car is still a concept, many believe that its sales will skyrocket once Audi decides to release it to the public. A true definition of Audi’s standards, the Laserlight is qualified to be called as one of the best vehicles in the CES 2014.
It cannot be denied that the Audi Q3 is a majestic vehicle. This crossover vehicle already has a powerful engine as well as a body design that intimidates other vehicles on the streets. It is capable of exerting its presence both on city roads and off-roads. Still, there are companies that take this monster of a vehicle and improve it to have a better body design. The end result of this improvement is the ABT Q3 2.0 TSI. This vehicle is ABT Sportsline’s very own customization to the Audi Q3.
The ABT Q3 2.0 TSI is one of the long line of Audi vehicles that ABT Sportsline has customized throughout the years. The company offers customization options to virtually any area of the vehicle from the engine to the wheels. The company is also capable of tuning all engine options of the Audi Q3 meaning that they could improve the Q3’s already overwhelming performance. Performance aside, ABT Sportsline also offers customization options to the exterior as well as the interior of the vehicle. They have a variety of options available ensuring that all of their customers will get the aesthetics that they prefer.
The Audi Q3 comes with a stock 2.0 litre turbocharged engine that has either 211 horsepower or 170 horsepower. ABT Sportsline can tune the engine resulting to a 250 horsepower rating and 211 horsepower rating respectively. ABT Sportsline can also tune the engine of diesel powered Q3s. Installation of ABT’s power package would add 195 horsepower and a substantial amount of torque from the 170 horsepower engine. This package would also result to an increase of about 30 horsepower to the turbo diesel mill. With these installations, the ABT Sportsline’s Q3 would effortlessly run circles around the stock Audi Q3.
ABT Sportsline offers a lot of body kits to customize the Audi Q3. There are multiple choices available for the front grille, front skirt, rear spoiler, and rear skirt. All of these options are meant to improve the performance of the Audi Q3. The resulting ABT Audi Q3 2.0 TFSI would have a more aerodynamic and streamlined body. The company also has options for the wheels and exhaust. The different wheel options differ only in design and size while the exhaust is available only for the front wheel drive models. The last modifications offered are for the brakes and suspensions. The modification to the brakes will install a brake system to the front axle whereas modifications to the suspension will allow the Q3 to carry more weight.
Once all of the modifications are added, the ABT Q3 2.0 TSI would have better performance and handling than the original Audi Q3. The modified Q3 would also have more personalized look as well as a slightly improved persona. The large increase in horsepower is more than welcome for this crossover vehicle while the body modifications make it easier for the vehicle to accelerate forward. All in all, the customizations work hand in hand to create a more dynamic, more powerful, and better Audi Q3.
Audi has always been known for creating some of the best sports cars in the world. With active participation in racing events ranging from Le Mans to DTM, they certainly know how to create speedy cars that can dominate on both road and track. Almost all that racing know-how is distributed on their road cars, and the result is some of the quickest roadworthy vehicles on the planet. The Audi RS6 Avant is perhaps the most intriguing among all their sports cars. Does this third-generation super-estate live up to the hype? This review will take a closer look at the 2014 Audi RS6 Avant. The profile of the RS6 Avant remains unchanged since it was first introduced in 2002. Its profile remains the same: a 5-seater, 5-door station wagon armed with all the go-fast goodies worthy of the RS badge. However, for the third-generation model, a change of priorities is in order. While the vision is to keep it as fast and intimidating as the previous models of the RS6, Audi plans to integrate light weight and fuel efficiency into the mix too. And in this iteration of the Audi RS6, they are able to do exactly that, thanks mainly to a modified powertrain (more on this later).
First, let’s start off with the body shell. Looking from the exterior, it may seem like there’s no real difference, with aerodynamic parts and badges making you recognize that this car is indeed an RS6. It’s beneath the surface that makes this car’s body frame special. In an aim to reduce the overall weight of the car, a combination of steel and aluminum are used strategically in different parts of the body. All in all, the 2014 Audi RS6 Avant weighs in at 2010 kilograms, which is lighter than the previous RS6 model. While 2 tons is still a huge figure, this is impressive considering the relative mass the RS6 occupies on the road. The interior of the Audi RS6 is exactly what you expect from a true luxury sports car. The dashboard is cleanly arranged, with all the necessary gauges very much visible and readable even while driving fast. A combination of leather, carbon fiber, and other high-quality materials make this car both comfortable and visually appealing. The seats, particularly the front seats, are especially comfortable, perfect for both racing and long distance driving. A comprehensive entertainment system means that all passengers, including those seated in the back, will enjoy the ride.
As mentioned earlier, the powertrain is the biggest change for the third-generation Audi RS6. Second-generation RS6 owners were treated to a menacing turbocharged V10 motor. This time, this was swapped with a 4.8 liter V8 engine. Equipped with 2 turbochargers and Audi’s FSI direct injection technology, maximum power output is measured at 560 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque. Because much of this power is available even at the low rpm range, acceleration and ride smoothness are topnotch. An innovative cylinder-on-demand system shuts off 4 cylinders during low load and engine speed, only activating all 8 cylinders when full force is applied. This greatly improves fuel economy, especially during city driving. This new engine is mated to an equally-new drivetrain. A ZF Tiptronic transmission specially designed for the RS6 is installed. Featuring 8 gears, each gear is strategically spaced for optimal performance. The lower gears are closely spaced for superior response, while the higher gears are made tall for cruise smoothness and fuel efficiency. As the case with Tiptronic gearboxes, it can function both automatically and manually. You can do manual shits via either the shifter or a pair of paddles located behind the steering wheel. Gear changes in both modes are quick and smooth.
There are 2 suspension options available for the Audi RS6 Avant. An adaptive air suspension comes standard in this car. This suspension provides a comfortable ride by effectively absorbing road contact, while still firm enough to provide optimal responsiveness for most situations. A more performance-oriented RS Suspension comes with Dynamic Ride Control, a system that employs hydraulics to significantly reduce body roll. Both suspension options come in 3 modes, Comfort, Auto, and Dynamic, with each setting varying significantly in stiffness and other parameters. Comfort is more suited for cruising, Dynamic is more suited for racing, and Auto adjusts depending on road conditions and driving behavior. Keeping the Audi RS6 Avant in contact with the road is a set of beefy 20 inch wheels. Such size of wheels ensures enough track is available for this bruiser. Larger 21-inch wheels are available as optional equipment. Using such huge wheels is also necessary as it allows this car to use equally huge brakes. Especially if you select the optional ceramic brakes, stopping is secure even at high speeds. Aiding handling is the legendary Quattro 4-wheel drive system. Rear-front power distribution is measured at 60/40, but a central differential can distribute power automatically between the wheels when needed. These technologies and hardware make the Audi RS6 stable and responsive in all speeds.
Driving impressions of the Audi RS6 is impressive, capping its reputation as a super-station wagon. The acceleration of this car is incredible; a zero-to-100 km/h sprint is done in less than 4 seconds, a remarkable mark for any car weighing over 2 tons. Top speed tips the scales at an electronically limited 250 km/h, but by getting the optional Dynamic Package, top speed is increased to 305 km/h. The brakes do their job well, and the combination of the Quattro system, the suspension, and the wheels keep the RS6 on the road even during tight maneuvers. While it’s not as dynamic as lighter cars, it is remarkably stable in cornering. And with comfortable seating, a plethora of entertainment options, and effective noise insulation, occupants will be treated to a delightful riding experience. The 2014 Audi RS6 cements its reputation as the best sport wagon in the world today, and does so with impeccable style. Fast, comfortable, and drivable in virtually all road conditions, it is a supercar you’ll want to drive every day. While its price is quite stiff (it’s priced around the $200,000 dollar range), it’s a unique car that will give you your money’s worth.

The first SUV that Audi produced was the Q7 and apparently the Q1 that is going to be released in 2016 is expected to be fantastic.
They have recently released a teaser image and they have confirmed the fact that they plan on building an entry level crossover. They have announced that the new Q1 is going to be extremely good looking and according to the image we can only agree them. The car has five doors, an extremely stylish sharp, angular styling and even distinctive headlights. When it comes to its fenders we can only say that they are going to be extremely aggressive. According to the information that we have so far we manage to discover that the new SUV is based on the VW Polo’s platform but it has an elevated seating position and even ample ground clearance which is also coupled with off road design.
When it comes to its engine we have to say that no information was revealed. It is speculated that it is going to be a 1.4 liter TFSI which can produce 230 horsepower. A hybrid variant is also expected when it comes to this amazing car.
One thing is for sure, we cannot wait to see the final aspect of this incredible car and we are definitely even more curious to find out what it can do. Audi is famous for its bold and powerful cars and we are sure that they are not going to disappoint us this time either. Even if we have to wait 2 more years we hope that it is going to worth and that in the end the final car is going to blow our minds.
The exterior is not the only one that makes us curious; we have to say that we have some huge expectations when it comes to the interior of the car, as well. We are 100% sure that it is going to combine the latest technologies with a stylish and comfortable atmosphere. Everything that Audi creates is bold but also extremely comfortable and easy to use.
The car is going to be revealed soon and if you are interested in purchasing the new Q1 then you can start raising money because it is going to be available in a couple of years. Every second is worthy when it comes to such a spectacular vehicle.
The shortest description for this car is that it is a yellow hybrid that weighs too much.
In 2010, at the Paris Motor Show there was unveiled the first Audi Quattro Concept. This car was actually a homage to the original Sport Quattro that appeared in 1984. The 2010 concept not only that it had an amazing aspect, but it was also extremely well equipped with a 2.5 liter five cylinder that was able to produce somewhere around 380 horsepower.
Its successor, the Sport Quattro Concept, was recently unveiled and we all hope that it will become a production version. The resembling between the two cars is a huge one but the main difference is that the last one is a hybrid.
Do not overreact by thinking that Audi has started going all Prius on us. The new Sport Quattro is actually a plug in hybrid which is able to produce 700 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. The output comes from an amazing 4.0 liter turbo V8 which is combined with an electric motor that uses a lithium ion battery.
All this incredible power that this car has is sent to the wheels via an eight speed Tiptronic transmission. We cannot wait to see the car at Frankfurt, next week, when it will have its debut.
They say that it will be able to go from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.7 second and its top speed is actually an impressive one: 190 mph. If you think about this car so far then you are going to be amazed. Unfortunately the car weights 4.079 lbs. We do not know if the battery pack is responsible for that or not but it is definitely a heavy car.
The exterior of the car is very stylish and the big wheels confer it a very solid aspect. The nicely angled rear hatch and the short overhands are also a plus when it comes to its design. We can definitely say that it looks pretty close to a production version aspect and is spacious enough to fit four occupants.
Apparently nothing can stop Audi from releasing this car but all we have to do is wait until next week to see exactly how the public is going to consider it. If everything goes well then Audi is going to sell such cars very soon and you will be free to purchase it if you consider that it is appropriate for your needs and personality.
After they managed to create the lime green R8, the tuners at XXX Performance presented their new project, the Audi R8. The car looks extremely different because of its blue chrome wrap from CFC, but somehow it still features a wide body kit and also a roof scoop, side additions, rear diffuser and even matte black accents.
The car is a sport one and this can be noticed analyzing its H&R coilover kit which can lower it and make it more efficient. The driver can always raise the vehicle without problems only by touching a button. This way, the new Audi R8 has a super flush fitment for the 325/25 Hankook performance tires and for the 20 inch Forgiato rims which are wrapped in 235/50.
The car also has a whole new carbon air box which is definitely an impressive tuning, but also a software tweak which can easily boost the output to 650 bhp. XXX Performance also installed a valve control system for the exhaust system which can adjust the exhaust note depending on the driver’s mood.
The exterior of the car is also an impressive one. The car has new front and rear aprons, V10 side blades and even new side skirts. Larger air inlets were added on the front in order to make them more efficient and good looking. The external rear view mirrors are also made in carbon fiber and they are extremely resistant.
The new Audi R8 can be considered an outright “monster” especially if you carefully analyze its stone deflectors, the broad mudguard and its aggressive GT-X650 wide body kit. The car is also extremely sophisticated and this aspect is easy to notice if you look at its air inlets in the front, but also at its huge openings of the exhaust pipe end which manage to transform the wide body kit into a unique product. You can also enjoy the construction set in a “slender” GT-X600 version. This version does not contain broad mudguard, but it does have side skirts, rear aprons and V10 side blades.
One thing is for sure, this incredible car is definitely a masterpiece and if you are crazy about vehicles then you should really take into consideration the idea of owning this one. It is a very fast car and its sport aspect can help you feel bold and strong. You can find more details about its features and price in Audi stores and all you have to do is visit one of them.
Even if station wagons are now history in America, this does not mean that overseas they do not have a strong following. The most admired ones are high-performance wagons. They are the perfect combination between a sedan and a SUV and they are extremely versatile.
Our first suggestion is represented by the new E63 AMG sedan Mercedes Benz. Its engine is a very powerful one, a 5.5 liter twin turbo V8, which makes it the perfect car for someone who wants to drive a vehicle with more than 518 horsepower. The model is a four doors one and the car is extremely spacious.
Audi RS6 Avant has a 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 with 560 horsepower and it offers you the possibility to reach 62 mph is just 4 seconds. Its top speed is somewhere around 190 mph and its adaptive air suspension and the carbon ceramic brakes make it extremely easy to drive. It can be the perfect car for someone who needs a big car with a powerful engine.
Cadillac also offers you the possibility to own a spectacular wagon which is even more powerful than the ones before it: 6.2 liter supercharged V8 with 556 horsepower. The car is available with a six speed manual transmission but it also has a magnetic suspension and Brembo brakes. It is a pity that it did not garn enough sales in its home market and its production was stopped.
Dodge Magnum is considered one of Americans’ favorite cars, especially the SRT-8 version. It has a 6.1 liter Hemi V8 and 425 horsepower. Taking into consideration the fact that this car first appeared eight years ago I am sure you are going to agree with me that it is a very powerful machine. Unfortunately the sales have decreased a lot in the last few years.
The last car from our top is an Australian one: Commodore. The engine is a 5.7 liter V8 one and it allows you to use 580 horsepower. It is definitely the most powerful vehicle that Holden ever produced. You are free to choose if you want to have this car in a sedan model, a wagon one or even a pickup form.
These are the most popular wagons in the world but this does not mean that you cannot choose anything else according to your budget and preferences. You can find a lot of information online and you can be sure that you are going to find the car of your dreams.
A few days ago, Audi has blown the cover on the 2014 A3 and S3 sedans. The models are expected to hit the dealerships this spring and aside from the obvious, the German carmaker has prepared a couple of extras.
On the design side, the 4457 mm long, 1778 mm wide and 1414 mm tall sedan showcases a modified front fascia, revised side skirts, new bumpers and a trunk-mounted spoiler. Designers also added faux aluminum mirror casings and a sport-tuned suspension that brings the ride 25 mm closer to the ground.
The interior of the A3 sedan comes nicely equipped with leather upholstery, Bluetooth connectivity, a panoramic sunroof and an MMI infotainment system with a seven-inch display. Furthermore, customers can pick from a variety of other options such as LED ambient lighting, a Bang & Olufsen audio system and 4G/LTE connectivity.
Under the bonnet, the vehicle packs a wide range of engines, starting with the petrol guzzlers, a 1.4-liter TFSI with 140 HP – 103 kW and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque, a 1.8-liter TFSI with 170 HP – 132 kW and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) and a 2.0-liter TFSI which currently has an undisclosed output. On the diesel side the Audi A3 sedan is available only with a 2.0-liter TDI which outputs 150 HP – 110 kW and 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) of torque.
The S3, on the other hand, boasts a high-output 2.0-liter TFSI engine that generates 300 HP – 221 kW and 380 Nm (280 lb-ft) of torque. All this power enables the model to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.9 seconds, with the S tronic transmission, and 5.3 seconds with the six-speed manual. The vehicle’s top speed is electronically limited to 250 Km/h (155 mph) regardless of which gearbox is selected.
The model is expected to have a starting price of around 25,000 euros.
