Bentley Mulsanne unveiled in Detroit

Bentley premiered their latest flagship sedan, the 2011 Bentley Mulsanne at the Detroit Auto Show, a luxury sedan that will be priced at $285,000 in the United States. The Bentley Mulsanne is powered by a 6.75L V8 engine that is able to deliver 505 HP and a maximum torque of 752 lb-ft which is connected to an eight speed automatic gearbox.
This engine is lighter and features cylinder de-activation and variable cam phasing, a combination that will reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. Bentley will offer a palette of 114 paint colours, 21 carpet colours, nine wood veneers and 24 interior leather hides to please every customer.
The Bentley Mulsanne features a luxurious interior with heritage-inspired dials and new glass effect switches and will also come with iPod and mp3 connecvity, Bluetooth and a SIM card reader and a 3G MMI system. The car will also feature a premium audio system from NAIM which is the world’s most powerful system fitted in a production car with 20-channelĀ and 2,200 watts.
