California-based tuners from Dinan have released an upgrade program for the BMW M3 dubbed SR-3 which includes several performance upgrades and will be available for the E90, E92 and E92 M3 models.  The Dinan BMW M3 SR-3 is powered by 4.6L V8 engine that was bored and enlarged to 4.6L from the stock 4.0L engine.

In the engine department engineers from Dinan also installed high flow throttle bodies, a carbon fiber high flow air intake, an underdrive crankshaft pulley kit and with a new middle racing exhaust system the power output of this modified M3 was raised to 527 HP at 7,800 rpm and to a maximum torque of 407 lb-ft at 5,200 rpm.

Dinan also equipped the car with a stage 3 suspension system that includes a performance spring set, matching front bump-stops, 28,5 mm front anti sway bar w/ urethan bushings, front camber platers, rear upper shock mount kit, front guide supports, carbon fiber strut braces and a racing rear toe link. These suspension upgrades improved the car’s handling a lot and a new set of Dinan/Brembo Front & Rear Brakes with black calipers and slotted rotors were also installed to further improve handling.

The Dinan BMW M3 SR-3 also features a couple of styling upgrades and the car received a new set of Dinan lightweight Forged Wheels sized 9.5 x 19″ on the front and 10 x 19″ in the rear that are wrapped in high performance Michelin Pilot Sport II tires sized 275/30 on the front and 295/30 in the rear.

Inside, Dinan added an aluminum pedal set, a deck lid badge with their logo and a special Dinan S3 Serial Numbered Plaque.
