DMC and The Maserati GranTurismo Sovrano Convertible
Earlier in September DMC introduced the Lamborghini Aventador LP900 which pretty much ripped the asphalt to shreds. Now, another orange arrow left DMC’s workshop, this time in the form of a convertible Maserati Granturismo. The tuning package features a new spoiler lip for the front bumper that increases downforce, a redesigned hood and wide side skirts with zig-zag end-panels. Seen from the back, the diffuser and trunk spoiler have been reworked and, as the whole bodykit, they are also made out of carbon fiber.
Under that orange hood is where the magic happens. The GranTurismo Sovrano has the same V8 4.7-liter engine that has been fitted with a supercharger. The vehicle now produces 590 HP – 440 kW and a peak torque of 472 Nm at 5,400 rpm.
The ride sits on 255/30 R20 tires in the front and 305/30 R21 in the back, and it has also been fitted with a sport suspension that lowers it by about 30mm.
