Say no to compromise and choose a car that’s designed with passion – that’s the Dodge Charger AWD Sport. It is designed with a dual scallop hood, tight wheel openings, tapered body profile, signature 164 LED taillamp, and a dual trapezoidal exhaust tips made of chrome. Its silhouette makes it more aerodynamic. It has a laser-brazed roof that eradicates ditch moldings on it. You can also opt for the available black painted roof with polished and forged gloss black or black chrome 20-inch wheels.
The Dodge Charger AWD Sport can be custom built with three different engines: 3.6L Pentastar V6, 5.7L HEMI V8 and the 6.7L SRT HEMI VVT V8.
When powered by the award-winning 3.6-Liter Pentastar V6, it can deliver 264 pound-feet of torque when equipped with the optional Blacktop package, Rallye Appearance Group or Redline Package with 8-speed automatic transmission.
Its 8-speed transmission comes available with an E-shift, which eliminates traditional shift linkages to help the engine run to its optimum range. This will then result to a smoother, faster and more efficient drive, along with standard fuel efficiency. Its emission has also been reduced by 11%, plus its gear changes are nearly unnoticeable. Even in cold environments or during start-up the car demonstrates an impressive transmission and efficient acceleration.
Charger also comes with two shift programs to match your driving needs. One is the standard pattern to fit your everyday driving, and the other one is the Sport Mode that offers you a more aggressive experience. It has a front and five-link independent rear suspension specifically engineered to deliver perfect control on the car, optimizing the vehicles road surface contact.
The legendary 5.7L HEMI V8 delivers 370 HP, 395 pound-feet of torque and a 0 to 60 mph acceleration in 5 seconds. It also has the Fuel Saver Technology. The 6.4L HEMI VVT V8 also comes with the Fuel Saver Technology while delivering 470 HP and 470 pound-feet of torque. It also has a 5-speed automatic transmission with an AutotStick.
The interior of the Dodge Charger AWD Sport is engineered with technology. Its Uconnect offers the user a range of entertainment and communication services. The system includes a touch-screen display of up to 8.4 inches. The steering wheel is also mounted with different control buttons, giving you the power to operate a variety of features including the Bluetooth-enabled phone, radio, cruise control, and the Voice Command navigation, to name a few.
You are sure to enjoy your drive all the time with the Beats Audio Premium Sound System that was tuned by no other than DR. Dre himself. The car is fully-equipped with speakers, letting hear and feel the music as you drive. The Beats Audio package comes with additional 50 watts of power per channel, 10 premium speakers with a 552-watt amplifier, along with the subwoofer and the enclosure in the shoulder of the trunk. The Beats Audio is available in the following Dodge Charger AWD Sport packages: Redline, Rallye Appearance, Blacktop, and the Wheels and Tunes Group.
Some of the most impressive and amazing supercars in the world were produced in America.
Even if Europe is the top tier of exotic supercars this does not mean that American cars cannot be included in this category. Here you can find some pretty incredible cars that were built in the United States and that are going to blow your mind.
1. Chevrolet Corvette
This vehicle has jumped from the sport cars category into the amazing supercars one and it has made a very good impression. It is able to produce 638 horsepower thanks to its 6.2 liter supercharged V8. It can go from 0 to 60 mph in only 3.4 seconds. Not to mention it costs somewhere around $100+k. Recently, a new Corvette impressed us, it is the Stingray which is definitely even more spectacular. In its base form it can produce 450 horsepower, it has a whole new LT1 V8 and it can go from 0 to 60 mph in only 4 seconds.
2. Dodge Viper
In 1992 Chrysler launched the first Dodge Viper and it had an amazing V10 engine that was the first on the market. Initially it was able to produce 400 horsepower, but in time it has evolved, and now it is able to produce 600 horsepower. The new SRT is definitely a supercar and its price confirms its value: almost a hundred grand. It can go from 0 to 60 in 3.3 seconds and it has a top speed of 200 mph.
3. Ford Mustang
This car first appeared in 1960 when Ford wanted to defeat Ferrari at Le Mans. In 2005 was launched Ford GT as a tribute from the GT40. The car had a 5.4 liter supercharged V8 engine and it is able to produce 550 horsepower. Not to mention the fact that it can go from 0 to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds. At the beginning it cost $140k but nowadays it price has increased a lot.
4. Venom GT
It appeared in 2010 and it is based on a Lotus Exige. It was modified in order to incorporate a super engine, a twin turbo 7.0 liter V8 that is able to produce 1200 horsepower. Its power is handled by a six speed.
The final position goes to SSC that is currently developing the Tuatara. It is an exotic vehicle that is able to produce 1300 horsepower. It is definitely an impressive car and its aspect is modern and impressive.
While Chrysler’s merger with Fiat goes to the next level, the future of the Dodge brand becomes more and more uncertain, according to early reports. Fiat’s goal of completely owning Chrysler can change a lot of things and these changes are going to be more noticeable in the near future. Fiat would like to own Chrysler and this is definitely the only chance for Chrysler to survive. Unfortunately there are some sacrifices that must be made and apparently this time, Dodge is the one that must suffer.
A newly released report says that Fiat has prepared a long time strategy for Chrysler and this strategy does not include the Dodge division because apparently they do not have some good models in the presents and they do not seem to create one in the future.
First of all, they have announced that there won’t be a replacement for the original minivan which is called the Grand Caravan, because they have managed to prove that the Town & Country is more popular and people buy it more than they buy the first one. The profit in this case is definitely bigger. On the other hand, the Dodge Avenger will be soon discontinued and it is going to be replaced by the redesigned Chrysler 200. They have also announced that they are still undecided when it comes to the fate of the remaining models such as Charger, Challenger, Durango, Dart and Journey but probably they are going to rebadged most of them as Chryslers or Fiats.
Taking into consideration that Charger is built on the same platform with 300, probably it is going to be replaced by it. Durango shares its underpinnings with the Jeep Grand Cherokee and it is going to have the same fate. Step by step all the Dodge models that exist are going to be replaced by Fiat or Chryslers models and, until 2016 the Dodge brand is not going to be relevant for Fiat anymore. We cannot say if this is a good idea or not, but it seems a good solution for Chrysler to rehabilitate its financial status and prestige. You can buy such a car especially if you are interested in having an elegant car with an interesting aspect and modern features. Their prices are not very big and you will be able to enjoy the car of your dreams without having to pay a fortune.
Even if station wagons are now history in America, this does not mean that overseas they do not have a strong following. The most admired ones are high-performance wagons. They are the perfect combination between a sedan and a SUV and they are extremely versatile.
Our first suggestion is represented by the new E63 AMG sedan Mercedes Benz. Its engine is a very powerful one, a 5.5 liter twin turbo V8, which makes it the perfect car for someone who wants to drive a vehicle with more than 518 horsepower. The model is a four doors one and the car is extremely spacious.
Audi RS6 Avant has a 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 with 560 horsepower and it offers you the possibility to reach 62 mph is just 4 seconds. Its top speed is somewhere around 190 mph and its adaptive air suspension and the carbon ceramic brakes make it extremely easy to drive. It can be the perfect car for someone who needs a big car with a powerful engine.
Cadillac also offers you the possibility to own a spectacular wagon which is even more powerful than the ones before it: 6.2 liter supercharged V8 with 556 horsepower. The car is available with a six speed manual transmission but it also has a magnetic suspension and Brembo brakes. It is a pity that it did not garn enough sales in its home market and its production was stopped.
Dodge Magnum is considered one of Americans’ favorite cars, especially the SRT-8 version. It has a 6.1 liter Hemi V8 and 425 horsepower. Taking into consideration the fact that this car first appeared eight years ago I am sure you are going to agree with me that it is a very powerful machine. Unfortunately the sales have decreased a lot in the last few years.
The last car from our top is an Australian one: Commodore. The engine is a 5.7 liter V8 one and it allows you to use 580 horsepower. It is definitely the most powerful vehicle that Holden ever produced. You are free to choose if you want to have this car in a sedan model, a wagon one or even a pickup form.
These are the most popular wagons in the world but this does not mean that you cannot choose anything else according to your budget and preferences. You can find a lot of information online and you can be sure that you are going to find the car of your dreams.
Trademarked in 1937 the Mopar brand is nowadays part of the american cult for modified cars with lots of power, and bling bling. Last year Mopar celebrated its 75th anniversary with a myriad of models revealed and plans to do the same thing in 2013. It seems to be the ideal time to analyze 5 most appealing cars modified by MOPAR.
Seen for the first time in 2011 at Frankfurt Motor Show, will turn you into a pirate captain instantly. The only missing thing? The crossbones flag. Otherwise we have it all: front and rear off-road bumpers, tail lamp guards, rock rails, grab-handles with coat hook (nice), synthetic winch line, slush mats and tonneau covers for the rear cargo. A bad boy useful for expeditions in places where no one has gone before.
Dodge Charger “Redline”
Presented at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show, seemed to be one of the Transformers and for a while I was convinced that it is so. Mopar added almost everything you could want: an aerodynamic carbon-fiber body kit with tri-coat paint, two-piece grille and a chin spoiler. A three-piece Mopar carbon fiber rear spoiler for additional down force, a vinyl roof graphic in matte black, an serious infusion of performance parts and attitude. I love it ! Who said that earthlings can not have their own UFO’s ?
Jeep Compass “True North”
I do not know how it looks the Fake North but certainly know what I like at True North. Is it paint? It it the way it looks? Yup, here we have a true adventurer. 16-inch alloys and a 2-inch lift kit for more courage in rough terrain, matte black paint for the roof, wheel flares, grille and light surrounds and some gadgets inside. There you will find audio components from Kicker, pitch and roll inclinometer gauges, and balls for exploring the wilderness.
He will make an offer you can not refuse: 363hp 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine, high-performance brake pads, a firmer suspension, Goodyear Eagle F1 rubbers, gloss black 20-inch forged-aluminum wheels, a machine gun in the trunk and impressions of Mafia. Dangerous aspect, you will feel a Soprano while driving. Blacked-out exterior, for more dangerous and chic appearance and a sudden need for money when you see it. If you see one you want one, I would say that they have done the job very well. Who needs a Batmobile? We have Chrysler 300. Batman? do not be jealous..
Will be displayed at the 2013 Chicago Auto Show. Gloss-black with a pair of car-length Mopar Blue stripes for exterior, 1.4-liter turbo MultiAir under the hood, front-chin spoiler, rear diffuser, one-piece deck-lid spoiler, 18-inch alloys and a lowered suspension. This car is probably expected by many. When you see it, you understand why. Has everything missing on European cars: masculine and dangerous appearance. Yes, we are men and elegance leaves us cold sometimes. We want bad cars looking poisonous and deadly. And this Dodge Dart seems to be one of the solutions. I think it would be the perfect car of a young Sith lord (hehe..).
Dodge has introduced two new limited edition Dodge Challenger SRT8 models a couple of weeks ago at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the 2012 Challenger SRT8 Yellow Jacket and the 2012 Charger SRT8 Super Bee.

Ram Truck has recently presented the range topping Laramie Longhorn Edition Truck at the Texas State Fair. This special edition adds a touch of luxury to this truck which now features an exclusive White Gold lower body paint, a chrome grille and 20″ chrome clad aluminum wheels.
The interior is also luxurious with leather upholstery, burled walnut trim, seddlebag rear seat pockets, heated and ventilated front seats, an improved shifter and all weather floor mats with polished Ram Laramie Longhorn logos.
The company states that they took design cues for this special edition from traditionally handcrafted, time tasted wares, such as the antique pocket watch, a fine pair of hand tooled leather cowboy boots, a collector’s grade shotgun or a horseman’s saddle. The metal work and leather work are second to none as they declared.
The Ram Laramie Longhorn Edition will compete with the GMC Sierra Denali and the Ford F Series King Ranch and will be available in several configurations from the first quarter of 2011.
Dodge has officially revealed the all new 2011 Dodge Durango, a refreshed version of the Performance SUV that will be first vehicle with the new Dodge logo. The exterior received several changes and now the Durango has smoother lines but it still retains its aggressive look and the trademark Dodge front end.
The 2011 model will be offered with a choice of two engines: a basic 3.6L Pentastar V6 unit which is good enough to travel 500 miles on a single tank. Customers who want more power to their Durango could get the ultra powerful 5.7L V8 HEMI engine which also features a fuel saving technology and a Multi displacement system four cylinder mode.
Inside, the 2011 Dodge Durango went through a big makeover and it’s now more comfortable and luxurious. Dodge also announced in their press release that the new Durango is going to be released on the market at the end of 2010.
The facelifted 2011 Dodge Challenger in R/T trim was just caught on camera by a member of the Mopart forums without any camouflage. Compared to the current model, the upcoming version featured only subtle design changes that can be seen only by someone who knows every inch of their Challenger.
The lower intake up front looks like its turned upside down and the Ram nose emblem on the hood was removed from this new model. The door handles are brand new, the wheels will also have a new design and there will probably be also a couple of minor mods at the car’s rear end but don’t have any photos with the car’s back yet.
The 2011 Dodge Challenger Facelift will probably get a redesigned interior with upgraded materials and a sportier trim and the most important are rumored to be under the hood where the 2011 Challenger will get the new Pentastar 3.6L V6 engine from Chrysler which will produce between 280HP and 300 HP while the top of the line SRT8 will be powered by a new 6.4L V8 engine that will deliver 480 HP, 55 more than the engine from the current SRT8 which develops 425 HP.
Dodge will release in August a special edition of their Dodge Challenger called “Mopar 10″ that will be produced in a limited run of just 500 units. The Mopar 10 is going to be based on the Challenger R/T version powered by a 5.7L hemi V8 engine and will feature several performance and styling upgrades from Mopar.
This limited edition received a functional vented T/A style hood with vintage hood pins, black chromed grille surround and several graphic from Mopar on the front bumper, hood, hood pin caps, body sides and windows.
