Ferrari 599 GTO details

Ferrari will launch the special Ferrari 599 GTO later this year, a supercar that features several new elements already seen on the 599XX. The 599 GTO will be a more powerful version of the 599 than the current GTB and HG TE models with the power rising to 650 HP and a similar rise in torque and performance.

The car’s weight will be also reduced to almost 1,600 kg and the car will be probably equipped with higher performing ferous-iron brake pad technology which was launched with the XX model and a faster gear shift software. The Ferrari 599 GTO will also feature several aerodynamic upgrades also seen on the 599 XX.

The car’s imminent launch was confirmed by Ferrari Boss Amedeo Felisa this week and it will be probably be announced at the Geneva Show next month with the first customers cars to be delivered during this summer. The Ferrari 599 GTO will be priced at £250-300k, depending on options.
