Jaguar Small Coupe 1

Jaguar is currently working on a small coupe project, a car that should have a really aerodynamic look with a large front grille and an interesting front bumper with big air intakes. The future Small Coupe from Jaguar will probably be equipped with a new engine, optimized for small fuel usage but still with great performances.

Jaguar’s small coupe should compete with Audi A5 or BMW 3 Series but we haven’t heard anything about engine displacements yet. The new car might be priced below the 30,000 pounds mark in order to address the same customer segments as the Audi A5 and BMW 3 Series.

Mick Mohan, chief of  engineering at Jaguar confirmed last month that the company is working on such a project but hasn’t offered any details about this car but he said it might be based on the aluminum platform technology which allows the automaker to decrease the car’s weight in order to improve fuel usage and reduce emissions.
