The Lamborghini Countach LP400 is obviously a head turner with its remarkable futuristic design. The Lamborghini Countach LP400 popularized the wedge shape and sharp angle look that is now commonly seen in high-performance supercars. It is also the Lamborghini Countach LP400 that started the cabin-forward concept which allows the accommodation of a larger engine, making the Countach popular. The word “countach” is a Piedmontese dialect in Italy used to describe an extremely attractive woman. Feruccio Lamborghini, the Italian automaker, exclaimed countach when he first saw the first prototype, thus, the name of the car.
The Lamborghini Countach LP400 was in production from 1974 to 1990. There were only 157 Countach LP400 that were built and 237 Countach LP400S. This iconic supercar is designed by the then young Marcello Gandini. Although inexperienced and young at that time, Gandini was able to produce an instantly recognizable and striking design. The shape of this supercar is low and wide with 1.07m but is not very long with only 4.1m.
The scissor doors that were first introduced in the Lamborghini Countach LP400 also became the Lamborghini trademark. The scissors doors of this supercar were hinged using horizontal hinges at the front causing them to lift up and tilt forwards. The scissor doors of the Lamborghini Countach LP400 are not only for aesthetic purposes but also because of the car’s width which is not suitable for conventional doors. This is due to the tubular space frame chassis of the car that requires high and wide door sills.
Despite the greatness of its design, the Lamborghini Countach LP400 is meant for high roof overhead. The scissor doors need enough space to open properly. This supercar also has poor rear visibility that is why drivers of this said supercar usually opens their door while sitting on the sill and reverses the car by looking at the back of their car when parking.
Through the years, the Lamborghini Countach LP400 has evolved greatly since its prototype to improve its handling, performance, tractability and its ability to conform to mandated requirements. The visual impression, outrageous design and originality of the Countach made it a very distinct supercar, thus making it a design icon. Although the Diablo and Murcielago is better known for their performances, they lack the distinction and greatness of the Countach’s design.
The Countach is built with the traditional Lamborghini V12 engine on its rear wheels, mounted longitudinally using a mid-engine configuration. It has a top speed of 316Km/h reaching 0-100Km/h in 5.60 seconds. It has a fuel capacity of 32 gallons and an engine oil of 5 gallon. All European models of the Countach are built with the six Weber carburetors until it became available in America which paved the way to the 5000QV model using Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection.
Although only minimal changes were made on the design of the Lamborghini Countach LP400, each development increased its power, making the most sought-after Countach.

What summer means for the Arabs in London and the London citizens
These people are from the Gulf States and the Middle East – Dubai, Qatar, Kuwait, Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia. By bringing their supercars (and enormous wealth and consumption) in the streets of London, the Knightsbridge can now be called as Little Kuwait.
For the people of London, summer means enjoying places other than their hometown. The summer time for London residents means that they will travel to other parts of the world (or Europe) such as Paris in France, Rome in Italy, Barcelona in Spain, California in the United States of America, South Korea, or the Caribbean. As such, summer means that they deem it would be more enjoyable by leaving the filthy city of London for a moment to relax in places that are ‘less rowdy.’ For them, they would do everything and pay every pound of their money to go to other places with sand, heat, beach and sangria.
Reason why the Arabs from the Gulf States in the Middle East love to spend their summer time in London as opposed to other traditional tourist destinations
The major reason that these mega wealthy billionaires from the Middle East come over to London during the summer is that they feel that the people are more welcoming and hospitable in England, unlike in the United States of America where they feel that they would not be as warmly welcomed. Moreover, the Arabs who went to London, England through their private posh and exclusive jets believe that London is a safer and friendlier place than the other so called ‘traditional tourist destinations.’
In addition to the aforementioned benefits, London also provides them with the privilege to bring their luxurious, fast and very expensive supercars together with them in order to make their stay more enjoyable and convenient. In fact, a picture from the Harrods just outside the Berkley Hotel in Central London, you will see a Veyron chromed all over to perfection with every side of its body work.
The increase in the number of Arab visitors in London and the Reason why the Arabs avoid New York
According to official figures of Britain, more than five million visitors flock the city of London every year. According to expert opinion of well-respected and trusted international studies commentators, this number significantly increased since the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in the World Trade Center in the United States of America. According to them, Arabs have become weary in New York for possibility of being branded as a terrorist or be associated with one. That is why most of them instead flock to London who they believe are more tolerant to Arabs and Islam in general. Also, London is a place where they can enjoy themselves in the cool breeze of the city without worrying much about possible reprisals from natives and citizens or being associated with terrorists.
The license plate that the Arabs use in their supercars and the problem of enforcers of traffic rules and regulations
The plates that citizens from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia use when they go to London through their posh private and exclusive jet planes typically use with their luxurious, fast and very expensive supercars is the license plate ‘999.’ Most of the Arabs that come from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are in their 20’sh; their clothingis Westernized and most of them have a lot of cash stored in their cars, ready to be spent any time at anything that is enjoyable, convenient and cool.
The other Arabs from the Gulf States however, use license plate with Arabic characters in it. This makes the ticketing for violations very difficult. According to an enforcer of traffic rules and regulations that is commissioned to ticket traffic violators in the city of London, it is almost impossible to ticket the Arabs when they violate traffic rules and regulations because the computerized ticketing machine that he uses in his daily workonly has the letters from the English alphabet and basic numbers in it. As such, there is no tab or option on his computerized ticketing machine for Arabic numerals and other foreign characters.
The supercars, when the Arabs go around the city, are parked in ‘pay and display’ bay in order to take advantage of the easy, mobile and convenient. In addition, the ‘pay and display’ parking bays also provides the additional benefit of being seen by other people when they leave their supercars and go to expensive restaurants or signature shops.
Another famous license plate that the Arabs from the Gulf States use when they come to London is the license plate number 1. According to the license registration authority in England, a person who will use this license plate will pay a total of 9 million pounds, for the registration of the license plate number 1 alone. No wonder the citizens of Britain would not dare use that license plate since the price of the same is technically more expensive compared to the price of hundreds of ‘normal’ cars. Truly, the privilege of using the license plate number 1 is astounding. One of the cars that were spotted to use these expensive special plates is the Ferrari F 40.

The economic situation in London and the conflicted reception of Arabs from the Gulf States

As the new governing coalition in the Great Britain used a budget austerity program that was heretofore unknown by Britons, billionaires from the Gulf States, according to accounts have encountered a reception from the Britons that is conflicted when they leave the Middle East for the summer together with the conservative social traditions and practices as a result of its predominantly Muslim nations, and of course the 130 degree heat in the Middle East. How the Young Arabs spend their time during summers in London
For the young Arab men and women, the city of London is a vacation that will free them from the restrictive and predictable drudgery of daily life back in the Middle East.
According to owners of London hotels, suites and inns, the Arabs usually look for places where there are several bedrooms and a porter service that can be availed 24 hours a day. Usually, they want the bedrooms to have a view of the Kensington Gardens or the Hyde Park. Of course, these places are not common and are generally only offered to business executives and children of oligarchs who can pay handsomely. As such, only the Arabs who come during the summer can generally afford these said hotels, suites or inns.
During the daytime, the young Arab men usually sleep while the Arab girls call their drivers to go shop around in the city. It is during the afternoon until the wee hours of the morning where the young Arab men are active in parties and flashing their supercars around the city.
Using the roads of London as racetracks
When the flashy supercars are used around, residents complain that some of the wealth Arabs uses the roads in the City of London to use as race tracks of their supercars during the midnight. In fact, one of the tabloids in Great Britain has called this practice as Knightsbridge Grand Prix – (referring to the race that is going on during the midnight between the supercars of wealthy Arab people in the London district of Knightsbridge). One of the supercars that was said to have raced in the Knightsbridge Grand Prix is Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren

The Lamborghini Miura P400S shows off a rolling chassis with a mid-mounted V12 engine across the car at the back of the seats. The Miura was developed by two of Lamborghini’s greatest engineers, Gian Paola Dallara and Paolo Stanzini. The body is designed by no other than Marcello Gandini of Bertone who is very young and inexperienced at the time with the age of 22.
The Lamborghini Miura P400S is better known for its jaw-dropping design and beyond excellent performance. The Miura’s low-profile, mid-mounted V12 engine, 4-wheel disc brakes and independent front and rear suspension set the Miura apart from the other supercars at that time. Its V12 engine was merged to a five-speed manual transmission which results to a stunning top speed of more than 170 mph at a 0-60 time of only 5.8 seconds.
The Miura is known to be a type of Spanish fighting bull. The later Lamborghini supercars names are associated with bull fighting. The Lamborghini Miura P400S is easily recognized by its chrome-plated window, headlight bezels made from bare metal and its surround trim. The Miura has truly defined the modern concept of luxury supercars. It offers an undeniably sophisticated and eye-popping design, extremely fast speed and great technical innovation which make it a really expensive car that only the millionaires can afford.
Lamborghini Miura P400S is touted too be the fastest sports car of its time with a very light weight of only 290.5 lbs. That is 500 lbs lighter than its competitor, Ferrari 330GTS. The P400S replaced the previous camshaft setting of the P400 to 47-63-58-38 which means the P400S is the fastest among all the Miuras at top speed. The Lamborghini Miura P400S also features the much-coveted vented disc brakes.
Among the popular people who owned a Miura is Frank Sinatra because he finds it “oh so good-looking” and he loves to own things that are beautifully designed. Sinatra ordered an orange Miura with carpeting that is the same as his private jet.
Up to this day, car enthusiasts are still impressed with the Lamborghini Miura P400S specifications. The highly-proven power provided by its symphonic V12 engine, its fully independent suspension, its four-wheel disc brakes and its light weight makes it a supercar deserving of its name.
The Miura models were built from 1966 until 1972. During this time, the Miura is more than a match to any road production cars, putting Lamborghini on top of the class, leaving behind Maserati and Ferrari.
Over the years, the Lamborghini Miura P400S went through improvements and developments which led to more stability, better braking and faster speed. Owning a Lamborghini Miura P400S is such a dream come true for car enthusiasts. Not only is it a true head turner, it is an icon of great style, speed and technical innovation.
Imagine a vehicle with carbon-composite and fiber alloys for structural integrity, aerodynamically designed body for faster speed, and with a front-air intake on two-sides for more efficient fuel combustion – all this for a rare concept car. The Lamborghini Reventon’s inspirational design from fighter jets doesn’t end there, even the interiors follow suit with the cock pits of one of the world’s most formidable aircraft, the F-22 Raptor.
So if you’re a Lamborghini junkie, this car is for you. There’s one problem though, only 20 Lamborghini Reventons will be manufactured and the price tag you need to join the exclusive club, $1.4 million. Seven more were produced for museums.
True to the history of Lamborghini naming its cars after bulls which gored matadors, the Lamborghini Reventon was named after the fighting bull which killed the famous matador Fahad Iqbal in 1943. True to its name, the Lamborghini Reventon descriptively means “he who seems to be about to burst”.
So what’s so special about Lamborghini’s most exclusive toy? Well, the color will be one. The Lamborghini Reventon boasts the color Grey Barra, a color especially developed by Lamborghini engineers for the concept car.
According to reports, the top speed for this mid-engine sports car was at 221 miles per hour. Rumors are swirling though that the Lamborghini Reventon will pack the same engine as its predecessor, the Murcielago LP640 – V12, 640 horsepower engine capable of accelerating to 60 miles per hour from 0 in just 3.4 seconds.
As usual (as with other Lamborghini models), the Lamborghini Reventon’s door opens upward. The designers boldly claim that the interior and dashboard look pretty much like that of a war plane that they dubbed it “the cockpit.” The interior color also gives militaristic appeal, army green. The driver’s wheel display board uses TFT liquid crystal display (LCD) with two different display modes. All the instruments are kept safe inside a housing milled from a solid aluminum block further protected by a carbon fiber case. The highlight among the instruments are the G-force meters which can measure the traversal and longitudinal forces that are acting on the Lamborghini Reventon’s body. The seats are black leather and brown Alcantara.
Since the Lamborghini Reventon sits two people, it also has two automatic airbags for each person and for added safety, an automatic braking system is also installed.
The internal features of the Lamborghini Reventon speak much about comfort and luxury and speak much about its real purpose, a status symbol.
The Carbon Fiber Exterior
Although most people think that the Lamborghini Reventon is like the glammed-up hyper-expensive version of the Murcielago, it does manages to set itself apart from its cheaper predecessor through its exterior design. The front air intake and a much sleeker and aerodynamic design of the hood give the Lamborghini Reventon its fighter jet look. Its exterior body is made of carbon fiber composite while its hood is made of glass laminate.
The Lamborghini Reventon light system boasts a combination of bi-xenon headlights and light emitting diodes or LEDs for indicators and hazard lights. The rear LEDs are specifically designed for high temperatures, since it is located near the 640-hp engine that generates a lot of heat.
I found a very intresting Video of the Lamborghini Aventador. This girl knows how to kill the machine. But maybe it doesn’t matter? So have a look at this cool video and enjoy the flames. Propably next time the machine will explode? Enjoy the video and share it with your friends.
Here you can watch the Lamborghini Aventador Donuts
Here is the absolute newest luxury version of one of the fastest cars in the World. The Lamborghini Aventador from DMC called LP988 GT. After the first pictures from the new Aventador the factory DMC gives brand new details over the new upgrade. Only the Bodykit will cost around 90,000.00 USD. The motor tuning will add the next 130,000.00 USD. Altogether with not described details it should cost around 288,320.00 USD. To be honest, you could be happy to see such car driving on the street. But I think the price will make it much more exotic. But you also get something special. The body kit is unique in its design, but it is strongly reminiscent of the only three times sold for 3.57 million euro lamborghini Veneno.
Here are the newest pictures from the Lamborghini Aventador DMC LP988 GT
Also the tuner says; “That the Lamborghini Aventador DMC LP988 GT is fully roadworthy and could be approved to drive on public roads. The DMC LP988 will come with 988hp and the price for this car in this range is realy good. We are just speaking over a half million.”

Such a nice holiday surprise: the Lamborghini Gallardo has been finally replaced with the Huracan which is definitely an incredible car.
The new Huracan’s specification
After so many months of speculations, and after we named the new car “the Gallardo replacement” we are finally able to give it a name: the Huracan. Actually its complete name is the Huracan LP610-4. The name is a special one and it is not randomly chosen. The car is able to produce “610” horsepower and even 413 lb-ft of torque and it has an incredible 5.2 liter V10 engine that manages to send all the power to the “4” wheels using a seven speed dual clutch transmission. We must also say that the tradition that Lamborghini has when it names the cars after fighting bulls continues this time too, Huracan being a bull that fought in 1879 in Spain.
The aspect of the car
The new cars borrows from the Aventador’s sharp and sleek aspect and it somehow manages to sports a classic wedge shape. It also comes with amazing Reventon inspired lights and the engine cover is magnificent decorated with hexagonal detailing. The vehicle is extremely good looking and it reminds us of the McLaren 12C and even Ferrari 458. The engine is not only a very powerful one but it also comes with incredible new indirect and direct injection systems. This is how the Huracan can go from 0 to 62 mph in only 3.2 seconds. This is not the best thing thought: it can go from 0 to 124 mph in 9.9 seconds and its top speed is somewhere over 202 mph. Just imagine how many things you can do with such a car. Even if it is so powerful and fast this does not mean that it uses a lot of fuel. Thanks to its stop/start system, the economy is 18.5 mpg.
The body panels and the mid engined chassis are made of carbon fiber and even aluminium. Even if they used a lot of lightweight materials, the Huracan’s final weight is 1,422 kg, being heavier than the Gallardo with 12 kg. The plush interior boasting leather and the increased dynamic technology are responsible for that. The car also has some special carbon ceramic brakes and you can even add variable ratio steering and magnetic ride control.
The price of the Huracan
The production of the car is going to begin next spring and its price is going to be somewhere aroud $200,000. Its debut is programed to be at the Geneva Motor Show in March and we cannot wait to see the final result.
Images with the new Lamborghini Gallardo appeared on the internet and if this is really the final edition then we have to say that we are extremely impressed. The car looks completely amazing and it seems extremely fast.
The car will have its debut in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show and it is an all wheel drive LP 570-4 Squadra Corse. When it comes to the performances of the car it is almost identical to the LP 570- 4 Super Trofeo race car, but it is fully street legal.
This Lamborghini may be the best one they ever build especially if you take into consideration the fact that it has the features of a race car and the elegance of a street one. It seems a very successful combination and we cannot wait to see the final aspect of the car.
The car shares a lot of key components with the Gallardo SuperLeggera, for example the removable engine hood, the big carbon fiber rear wing and even the 5.2 liter V10 which is able to pump out 570 horsepower. When it comes to the transmission you should know that no six speeds manual will be available and you will be able to enjoy only the six speed auto with paddle shifters.
The car weighs 2.954 lbs and it is lighter than the standard LP 560-4. The car also has carbon ceramic brakes and an amazing interior with Alcantara center inserts. The interior of the car is definitely a minimalist one which makes this car even more elegant.
They also added carbon fiber door panels, handbrake frame, center console cover and even the lower portion of the steering wheel in order to save additional weight and to make this car even faster. The performances of the car are incredible and it can go from 0 to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds only. If you want to reach 124 mph then you only need 10.4 seconds and you can easily reach the top speed of the car which is 199 mph.
The name of the car comes from the Lamborghini’s new motorsport division and we are sure that it is going to be on everybody’s lips very soon. The price and the production number were not announced yet but we are 100% sure that this will not be a cheap car. If you want to own it then you should be prepared with an impressive amount of money.
