MKB Mercedes SL 65 AMG Black Series

MKB is the latest tuning company to release a tuning package for the Mercedes SL 65 AMG Black Series which was dubbed P 1000 and features many performance enhancements. Under the hood, the car received new air intakes, bigger turbochargers, improved cooling systems, an ECU upgrade and high performance camshafts.

Due to these upgrades the automatic transmission of the car also had to be modified and engineers from MKB will offer clients a variety limited slip differentials. Thanks to all these upgrades the power of the 6.0L V12 engine received a sensational boost to 1,000 Bhp!

The car’s torque was also increased a lot and MKB had to limit it to “just” 1,300 Nm of torque which means this car is just as fast as a Bugatti Veyron. It can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds, 200 km/h in 8.9 seconds, 300 km/h in 21.5 seconds and even though it’s top speed wasn’t determined yet, MKB estimates it should be around 370 km/h.
