New spyshots with the 2011 Mercedes E-Klasse Cabrio

The 2011 Mercedes E-Klasse Cabrio was recently spotted without any camouflage while it was doing some tests on the track. The new E-Klasse Cabrio is going to replace the CLK cabriolet and compared with the CLK the new luxury Cabrio from Mercedes is bigger and a bit more aggressive.

The car retains the overall aspect and design cues from the new E-Klasse featuring a new grille design and headlights like the ones from the coupe version  and upper edges of the wings and a down pointing nose like the one from the E-Klasse. The car’s rear side will probably feature the same taillights as the ones used on the new E-Klasse coupe.

The 2011 Mercedes E-Klasse Cabrio will be probably premiered at the 2010 Frankfurt Auto Show next September and further details about the car, performance figures and official photos with the new Coupe will be probably released closer to the premiere date.
