Opel Calibra turned into an Aston Martin DB9

If you can’t own your personal luxury sports car there’s always a second chance to get almost the same visual result by turning an old car into your dream car. It’s cheaper, less attractive and less interesting than the real deal but it’s still an impressive conversion if yo manage to copy the original car’s lines.

A team of tuners from Thailand turned a 1990s Opel Calibra coupe into an Aston Martin DB9 replica. Of course, the base car is still the same old Calibra and the car’s performances won’t impress anyone but it could fool an untrained eye easily.

This Calibra received a new body that almost exactly copies the lines of the supercar and we have to say it’s a pretty well done replica. The car’s interior isn’t quite ready yet but probably the final result will prove to be a hit.
