Opel launched the 2010 Corsa ecoFLEX

Opel launched today the new Opel Corsa ecoFLEX, a car that’s going to available on the market from January 2010. The car is going to combine driving pleasure with the eco-friendly features and it’s going to be equipped with a sophisticated 75 kW/95 HP 1.3 CDTI diesel engine which is boosted by a turbo with a variable geometry.
The car is packed with 28% more power than the previous Corsa ecoFLEX and this car’s fuel usage and CO2 emissions are now lower by almost 10%. This is how the 2010 Corsa ecoFLEX has a fuel usage of just 3.7L/100 km and only a CO2 emissions level of just 98 g/km.
The three door version of this car emits 98 g/km CO2 while the five-door has a CO2 emissions level of 99 g/km. The new Corsa ecoFLEX will have 190 Nm of torque between 1750 and 3250 rpm, it could reach a top speed of 177 km/h and it has an acceleration time of 12.3 seconds.
Opel announced that this car will have the same price as the standard 90 HP Corsa 1.3 CDTI and it’s going to be equipped with a Diesel Particulate Filter making it one of the most environmentally friendly cars ever made by Opel.
