Peugeot and its “Alien” Onyx concept
Peugeot came up with an interesting concept these days. A few pictures that present the bold Peugeot Onyx have surfaced on the internet. This car looks like it’s about to light-up like an UFO and fly away with a sonic boom.
The Onyx has a two-tone exterior, aggressive LED headlights, a sleek grille and a “muscular” body with a distinctly shaped rear-end. Peugeot took the design a little further and mounted an awesome set of carbon fiber wheels on the ride.
The interior is a little …strange. I understand that the future is inspired by this minimal trend but I can’t help the feeling that the seats are missing. The high-tech digital instrument cluster, the carbon fiber steering wheel and the roof-mounted digital rearview mirror give the car an alien look.
The car will reportedly have a mid-mounted, 256 HP – 188 kW 1.6 THP engine that’s interconnected with a 120 HP – 88 kW electric motor. This technology could make the car run on only 4 L/100km. Awesome or not?
