Porsche has just unveiled the new Porsche 911 Turbo S, the first 911 S model in five years and the first for the 997. The S models from Porsche come with more power, better handling and the 911 Turbo S features a twin turbo flat six engine that is able to deliver 530 HP and 516 lb-ft of torque.
All this power is transmitted to all four wheels through a seven speed PDK dual clutch gearbox. The Porsche 911 Turbo S also received 19″ wheels with center locking nuts and a torque vectoring system that helps pointing the car directly where the drive wants it.
This powerful version of the 911 Turbo is able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds and it could reach a top speed of 315 km/h. The Porsche 911 GT2 has slower acceleration time of 3.7 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h but it has a faster top speed of 328 km/h.
Porsche will premiere both Coupe and Cabrio versions of the Porsche 911 Turbo S at the Geneva Motor Show in March and the cars will be available on the market form May. The Coupe will cost 173,241 Euros and the Cabriolet will be priced at 184,546 Euros.
