Revenge Verde Supercar 1

Revenge, an US-based supercar maker, has just launched  their Revenge Verde Supercar at the Detroit Auto Show. The car has a dynamic and aggressive appearance and it shares a good portion of its aluminum chassis with the Ford GT.

The bodywork was made from aluminum and carbon fiber and using lightweight materials this car weights only a bit over 1,500 kg. Under the hood, the Revenge Verde Supercar has a Roush-sourced Ford Racing V8 engine with 605 HP and it could also be equipped with the supercharged LS9 from General Motors that produces 638 HP.

The supercar also has a Hp2g Hybrid drivetrain option that will feature a V8 which apparently will be able to produce 400 HP while running on E85 and it will have a fuel consumption of 100 mpg.

Revenge hasn’t released any performance figures or additional details about their supercar yet, but the Verde Supercar will probably be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3 to 5 seconds depending on the powertrain chosen. The car will reach a top speed of 321 km/h and will be priced at $190,000.

Revenge is planning to launch this car on the market later this year and they also hinted that they might offer an even more powerful version with optional gearing that would have a top speed of 386 km/h.
