Switzer Audi R8

Switzer Performance released a couple of innovative new products for the Audi R8 that will enhance the overall performance of both the V8 and V10 versions. For version equipped with the 4.2L V8, the guys from Switzer tweaked the car’s ECU and managed to take the engine to 440 HP.  This upgrade is compatible with the stock exhaust and will cost $1,995.

The more powerful Audi R8 equipped with a 5.2L  V10 also received a couple of upgrades to its engine and it is now able to produce 550 HP. This upgrade package will cost $3,995 and Switzer Performance also offers a carbon fiber airbox that includes filters and hardware and will add an extra 10-15 HP to the car’s power.

The Switzer Audi R8 won’t come with any styling changes but the car tuners could offer some additional upgrades such as LiDar detectors integrated into the mirror, full iPod and iPhone integration, custom illuminated door sills and high quality window tinting.
