Porsche 996 2
Prior Design has revealed an exciting upgrade package for the Porsche 996 that gives it a refreshed look, close to the Porsche 997 model. To make this conversion, the 996 received a fully body kit which includes a redesigned front bumper with big air inlets, a small spoiler lip, new side sills and a new rear bumper with an integrated diffuser and also room for a new exhaust system.
The Prior Design Porsche 996 also received a set of multi-part forged wheels that will be available in any sizes and, to get the same aggressive stance as the Porsche 997, the ride height of the car was lowered by 30 mm thanks to new suspension springs.
Prior Design hasn’t announced how much this conversion will cost but if you own a 996 and you want to turn it into a 997, you probably have enough money for this package.
Misha is a less known tuning company that specializes in producing high quality body kits for Porsche models for a couple of years already. Misha is recognized in the Porsche community for their unique design ideas, quality workmanship and outstanding service and they are dedicated to transform cars from ordinary to extraordinary.
Misha has released today details about an all new tuning program for the Porsche 996 and 997 Turbo which features a unique styling package. The aerodynamics kit consists of a new front spoiler lip, new side skirts, extra air vents in the hood, a new diffuser with an integrated exhaust system with 4 pipes, side air vents and a new GT2-style spoiler.
The car tuners haven’t made any changes under the hood and that means the 996 Turbo still has 420 HP and the 997 Turbo still has 480 HP to play with. All parts of this unique styling package are completely built up of carbon fiber. Misha has also installed a set of LED daytime running lights and a new set of black wheels with borders painted in the same color as the car.
