The 2013 Dacia Logan

September 18, 2012, By Alexander Eckhart

The first pictures of the 2013 Dacia Logan have surfaced on the internet, as usual, a couple of days ahead of the Paris Motor Show. The car doesn’t look as bad as I expected but, it still boasts a couple of styling cues from its predecessor. The model has an evolutionary design with a new prominent front grille and larger headlights as well as wraparound taillights and a new trunk. If you were to cover up the front and the back of the car, you would instantly recognize the old bulky Logan.

The interior adopts a rather similar design to the old version but officials say the new model will feature higher quality materials, an infotainment system, metallic accents and contrast stitching on the seats. The new Dacia Logan looks a little more “casual” than its uptight predecessor and I believe that this might be a major step forward for Dacia.

Under the bonnet, the engine versions remain unconfirmed, but rumors state that Dacia might prepare a 0.9-liter 3-cylinder engine that outputs around 90 HP – 66kW for the Logan. We’ll just have to wait and see the official press release. Watch this space!
