The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series will arrive in 2014

It looks like the Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series is going to get 630 HP – 463 kW under the hood, instead of the GT’s standard 591 HP – 435 kW. Worldcarfans recently quoted an inside source at Mercedes Benz which stated that the SLS Black Series will hit tha showrooms in late 2014 and only 100 units will be available in the U.S.

With this power improvement, the vehicle should be able to sprint from 0 to 100km/h (60mph) in 3.4 seconds and reach a top speed of over 300km/h (190mph). The publisher also said that the exterior of the SLS BLack Series might end-up looking very similar to the recently announced SLS AMG GT3 45h Anniversary edition. The body kit will boast a new front bumper, new hood with a lower center scoop, huge air intakes for the front quarter panes and a rear wing, all of which are made from carbon fiber.

Furthermore, Worldcarfans also added that the interior will be similar to that of the SL65 AMG Black Series.
